Considering A Move to Orem? Outdoor Lovers and Families Flock to Orem
Orem is one the most beautiful, outdoor-loving cities to live. If you love the outdoors, Utah is your best option. There are many families living in Orem with extremely safe and friendly neighborhoods. In fact, Orem's nickname is “Family City USA”. It is the perfect combo for families - wonderful schools, a cheap cost of living, and friendly and caring neighbors. Orem was rated Best Place To Raise A Family by Forbes.com in 2016 and ranked #13 Best Place TO Live in 2018's Money Magazine.
The weather is typically mild in Orem. The average temperature is around 52 degrees, summers getting to around 70, and winters only dropping to just about 32 degrees. You will get snow in the winter but the average sunny days are more than most in the US, 223 days a year.
Orem Offers Hiking, Biking, Horseback Riding, Golfing Skiing, and Climbin
This makes the sunny city perfect for hiking, biking, horseback riding, golfing, skiing and climbing. Orem has Mount Timpanogos Park and Neilsen's Grove Park among many other attractions. These two are beautiful nature spots to spend your day. Nielsen's Grove Park is the oldest park in Utah and has a beautiful sight of 24,000 Tulips that bloom each Spring. Mount Timpanogos Park is 44-miles of natural beauty for hikers, bikers, and joggers.
Orem has a small-town, young feel. The population is around 93,000, with a young demographic of a median age of 25-years-old. Cost of living is pretty average for the US, with utilities being less than average. Though, buying a house can cost you more than most places - a median house is around $215,000, but renting is only a median of about $900/mo.
Orem is also an extremely religious town. 93% of people are part of the Mormon Church. Though Utah was the birthplace of the Mormon religion, Orem is the highest percentage of religious folks in the state.
With plenty to do and friendly neighbors, you won't want for much more! But, if you ever need the feel of the big city, Salt Lake City is only 45 minutes away.

Salt Lake Pro Movers Is Faster Than National Movers
Salt Lake Pro Movers understands your time and money is important. This is why we will give you a date and stick to it. Our services on a long distance move take much shorter time (typically 3-5 days) than national movers (3+ weeks is not unheard of).
What Sets Us Apart From Other Movers?
We make sure to typically only work with one move at a time, putting your things on 26' straight trucks, and driving from point A to point B. We carefully pack up your home, put it on our trucks, and drive toward your new destination. We don't pull semi-trailers, our trucks come with a disk-lock system, and your pieces never change vans or enter a warehouse. Our staff takes the extra step to stay in nice hotels in suburban areas or small towns, with no stop offs at different locations. Your belongings are usually the only pieces on our trucks during your move and when we tell you a date and a price, we stick to it. This is not the case with national movers - they pack multiple small moves onto multiple semi-trucks. They store your belongings in different warehouses and different trucks along the way, with multiple destinations across the country. These warehouses open your pieces up to the threat of loss, damage, or theft. Even the type of truck, pulling a semi-trailer, is more susceptible to jack-knife wrecks, especially during poor conditions or mountainous roads.
Those companies are also huge operations and can commonly end up inflating cost and delaying your move date and or delivery time.
We make sure we are different. Our operation is much smaller and we are known for our soft touch when it comes to moving. We use multiple safeguards to protect your pieces from dents, dings and scratches. We put down floor protection, doorway protection, and even optional carpeted stair protection. Luxury home moving comes with its own unique difficulties and our team has perfected that moving process. Our team is promoted from within and we never hire workers by the day. Our staff consists of highly trained grad students, former athletes, and even sometimes the owner Ken Wilson will hop on moves.
